The FAQ: revised 10.14.2002
Q. You're an idiot.
A. That's not a question.
Q. Why are you an idiot?
A. I am therefore I am... or something.
Q. So what's up with this TV show?
A. The first episode of The Show is actually being editing right now so it should be ready for broadcast (called "cablecast" by public access diehards) sometime in early November. The 2nd episode is in preproduction and I'm planning to shoot it in late October. I've been pretty busy checking out options such as local video rental distribution and getting it on the air in other regional areas, too. So we'll see.
Q. What's The Show like?
A. It's sort of a comedic variety show... sort of. We have guests and weird interviews, live music and segments with me being a moron. I like to lick things and bash stuff with sledgehammers.
Q. When and where can I see the new episodes?
A. My show will be carried by two stations: Mountain Digital Channel 7 in Preston County, WV and PCTV Channel 21 in Pittsburgh. Even though no one has seen an episode yet, feel free to e-mail Mountain Digital 7 and PCTV and tell them how much The Brice Kennedy Show kicks ass!! They'll be confused. It'll be bedlam.
Q. Where is The Show taped?
A. The Show's studio segments are taped in Pittsburgh at the station and most of the remote segments are taped in and around Morgantown and Pittsburgh.
Q. How'd The Show get started?
A. The idea came to me a couple of years ago. I'd heard about public access TV and of course, I love attention and acting funny and weird. I HAD to have my own show so I could get some of this stuff out of my head and onto people's tee-vee screens.
Q. Who are some of your influences?
A. Some big influences would be Bobcat Goldthwait, Tom Green, Pee-wee Herman, Andy Kaufmann, Bill Cosby and that prankster character from Sesame Street that always propped the bucket of water on top of the door. I don't think he had a name.
Q. What did you say when you met Bobcat Goldthwait?
A. Too excited to be nervous, I put my arm around him and told him how I listened to his stuff as a kid and how it made me really want to get into comedy. Very down-to-earth. Didn't seem like the usual celebrity-fan deal.
Q. Do you do any other acting?
A. Yeah, I do. Check out my Acting and Filmmaking site for summa dat schtuff.
Q. And what about these MP3's I keep hearing about?
A. I've made some MP3's from The Show and just from screwing around with samples and loops and stuff. You can check it out on the MP3's page . I'll be adding some MP3's from The Show soon, too.
Q. Did you actually run for President in 2000?
A. I didn't really like the other candidates and knew that I couldn't possibly make the election into a bigger joke than it already was. Nonetheless, I tried. So... yes, I did.
Q. How many votes did you get?
A. That's not important.
Q. So what's next for The Brice Kennedy Show?
A. Like I said, I'm looking into getting some distribution in some Morgantown video stores and I REALLY want to get it on the air in some other areas around WV and PA. I'm finally ready to go at this thing full force. In fact, I do believe it's appropriate to say that I'm "'bout to be all up in this bitch". Keep checking back for more info. Yeah, I'm proudda ya.
